The connection is

Each silver element is shaped for a specific ceramic body. Its position, balance and fixing points are considered together, then joined through Ceramic Stapling / Juci, a traditional Chinese technique.
This approach is slower than adhesive assembly, but honest about how the materials meet. What holds the object together can be seen and understood.
